United States – EDsmart’s ranking of the most affordable online RN to BSN programs is the most comprehensive and well-rounded to date. The ranking includes only fully accredited schools that offer an online RN to BSN in nursing program.Rankings are based on solely on affordability. Schools were ranked by net price.
A college’s net price gives a more accurate view of what students can expect to pay after receiving financial aid, compared to the college’s tuition or sticker price.
This ranking also lists other factors that are of interest to students such as graduation and retention rates, and the percentage of students receiving financial aid. This way potential students can see how satisfied they might be with a given college, how likely they are to graduate at a given school and how likely it will be that they pay the net price. All data points were gathered from the most recent National Center for Education Statistics database. “The schools on this year’s list offer high quality education with great future value at an amazing price,” said EDsmart’s spokesperson. “The nursing faculty and staff at these schools have dedicated themselves to creating and offering high-quality learning experiences in both online and on-campus environments. In addition, these schools offer additional financial aid by way of scholarships, fellowships, and loans to most of their students.”
